Experiencing Cuba's new legend live – My evening at the world premiere in Saarbrücken

On November 12, 2025, I had the rare honor of being part of a very special moment in cigar culture: the world premiere of the new premium cigar at the exclusive Alexander Kunz Theatre.

That evening, the Cuban tobacco giant Habanos SA presented the new format of the traditional Hoyo de Monterrey brand to the international public for the first time – a milestone that drew aficionados from all over Germany and beyond to Saarbrücken.

And I was right in the middle of it – but not on assignment, but purely as a guest and passionate connoisseur of Cuban cigars.
